Services Provided: General Dynamics engaged Orr for due diligence and to manage the interior build-out of a 137,000 SF space located in Herndon, Virginia. Orr identified building short falls which led to additional landlord contributions to GDIT totaling nearly twice Orr’s fee. The project included hard-wall offices with glass store fronts and systems furniture. The space also included 9 Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) proposal rooms, a Security Operation Center (SOC), multiple conference rooms and pantries, and a high-end reception. Orr subsequently was engaged by GDIT for additional work in this building, which will result in GDIT occupying 100% of the property.
