OPEN POSITIONS

Assistant Project Manager (APM) - Real Estate / Construction

Candidate will be involved with multiple projects ranging from corporate headquarters to mixed-use developments. No two days will ever be the same in this position! More

General Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks assigned by project and company management based on candidate's demonstrated competencies and successes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with peers from other firms.
  • Prepare weekly project reports.
  • Complete project specific assignments (i.e. obtaining bids, coordinating permits, etc.) — graduating in scope and scale with demonstration of skill set.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and invoice tracking.
  • Develop and manage project schedule.
  • Participate in strategy discussions and client relationship maintenance.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Creation and distribution of weekly reports, including Meeting Minutes, Flash Reports and Task Lists. The Project Manager and/or Project Executive must review all weekly reports prior to distribution. Draft copies of the Task List and Flash Report must be completed by Friday each week. Meeting minutes must be completed within 24 hours of the meeting.
  • Creation and maintenance of the appropriate administrative logs, i.e. change order logs, CCD logs, etc.
  • Assembly of all information for monthly reports and coordination with appropriate administrative personnel, as available, for final assembly and distribution. The APM will ensure the proper distribution addresses and contact information are provided and updated.
  • Creation and maintenance of the project directory — a comprehensive collection of vital contact information for all project team members.
  • Photo documentation of project progress.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Filing of electronic and hard copy project information.
  • Filing electronically all email correspondence the APM receives during the course of a project.
  • Support Project Managers (PMs) in developing and maintaining a Project Schedule.
  • Support Project Managers in developing and issuing RFPs for design, consulting and general contractor services.
  • Maintenance of construction documents.

Requirements

Senior Project Manager - Real Estate / Construction

Candidate would serve as the main point of contact with clients on project issues including, but not limited to: More

  • develop master project budgets and schedules
  • procure and manage the services of architects, engineers and contractors
  • administer project related contracts  and construction documents
  • coordinate project activities
  • serve as the central communications point for project team members
  • organize and document project files and protect
  • promote the interests of our clients

Candidate must have experience in all phases of real estate development and project management, including due diligence, entitlements, base building, tenant, design and close out. 

Experience with computers, especially Microsoft Office and demonstrated knowledge of computer based project management systems (Suretrack, Primavera, EADOCs) a plus.  Candidate must work well independently and possess strong written communications skills.  Must possess a BS degree, civil engineering, construction or related industry preferred.  Some travel required.
