Orr Partners donated to the Education Equity Fund of Alexandria through Act for Alexandria to provide in-person support for less fortunate students during virtual learning in 2020 in Alexandria, VA.

Orr Partners supports the The Children's Inn at NIH. The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “place like home’’ for families with children, teens and young adults participating in leading-edge research studies at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Orr Partners Chairman, David Orr, serves on the Board of Directors of the Columbia Pike Partnership, which aims to foster a vibrant, safe, connected, and diverse Columbia Pike community. Orr Partners also sponsors many of the organization's events throughout the year, such as the the Blues Festival.

Orr Partners Vice President Jim Behrend is a Board Member and Chair of the Facilities Committee at Doorways for Women and Families. Doorways works to transform the lives of women, men and children who are facing homelessness or suffering abuse.

Orr Partners is proud to support Flags for Heroes, which is organized by the Rotary Clubs of McLean and Tysons Corner to provide this opportunity for individuals, companies and organizations to Honor their Heroes with American Flags displayed in highly visible, high traffic areas in multiple locations throughout the McLean community.

Orr Partners and staff members have supported the Fort McAllister Sport Fishing Club (FMSFC), which hosts fundraising fishing tournaments near Savannah, GA. Funds are used to support the community in various ways, such as providing bikes and holiday gifts for children in need.

Orr Partners supports the George Mason University Foundation Scholarship Fund. The fund provides scholarships to students that attend George Mason University in Virginia.

Orr Partners President Scott Siegel supports Helping Up Mission. The organization helps men fighting addiction and homelessness get their lives back.

Orr Partners President Scott Siegel served as a Board Member and Financial Advisor at HoneyFern School. The school's mission was to engage students in their own education through the use of self-directed, project-based learning and internships.

Orr Partners is a strong supporter of the Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA), formerly the Washington Humane Society. HRA is an open-access shelter in the Nation’s Capital, which strives to inspire and create a community where all animals have secure homes with joy and compassion.

Orr Partners has also supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

Orr Partners staff contribute to the Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) in Charleston, SC. LCFB is a clearinghouse for donated food items through the generosity of both the Coastal Community Foundation of South Carolina and Trident United Way.

Orr Partners has participated in fundraising events for Mator's Kids. This organization was created in memory of Chris "Mator" Myers to support athletic and educational challenges for young boys and girls in his community with the express purpose of developing, mentoring and preparing those children to succeed in all walks of life.

For many years, Orr Partners has assisted Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) through various functions, donations and attendance at several performances. MSA is a uniquely innovative arts education establishment, on a mission to launch students who change the world, by reaching their fullest potential.

Orr Partners staff support Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). PVA aims to change lives and build brighter futures for our seriously injured heroes—to empower these brave men and women with what they need to achieve the things they fought for: freedom and independence.

Orr Partners and President Scott Siegel support St. Paul VI Catholic High School (PVI) Athletic Boosters in Chantilly, VA. PVI is committed to graduating responsible, moral, service-oriented young adults who will continue to “grow in grace and wisdom" through spiritual, intellectual, personal, social, and physical development

Orr Partners staff give to Pet Helpers in Charleston, SC. Pet Helpers is a non-profit Rescue and Adoption Center and low-cost Spay/Neuter & Veterinary Center that serves communities across the Lowcountry. Their mission is to end euthanasia for all adoptable cats and dogs.

Orr Partners supports Protect Our Winters (POW) through donations and employee volunteering. POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change.

Orr Partners President Scott Siegel also supports Ready4LearningClub (R4LC). R4LC is a research-based, emotionally intelligent strategy for peak performance learning.

Orr Partners sponsored and attended the McLean Chocolate Festival, a fundraising event for the Rotary Club of Mclean. Proceeds are used by the Rotary Club to support local schools and organizations.

Orr Partners supports Social4Good through donations and employee volunteering. Social4Good brings together engaged women who want to meet new people and support the organizations that make our community strong through the power of collective philanthropy. Monthly events support local philanthropies, such as Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, through monetary, in-kind or volunteer support.

For numerous years, Orr Partners has supported the baseball team at nearby South Lakes High School (SLHS). SLHS is a Fairfax County public high school located less than two miles for Orr's office in Reston, VA.

Orr Partners has sponsored a charity golf tournament benefiting Water For People, which exists to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.

Orr Partners sponsored the Project Lighthouse fundraising event to benefit the Winchester Rescue Mission, a non-profit that provides shelter and support services for men and women in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.

Orr Partners contributes to the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington Acts of Kindness Fund (AKF), which was founded by their senior leadership to give back to YMCA of Metropolitan staff during times of tremendous crisis.
