Jon has worked with Orr Partners since 2011. He previously served as the Chief Operating Engineer for the Property Management division and now works with the Project Management team as an Assistant Project Manager. As Chief Operating Engineer, he oversaw the performance, safety, and reliability of all building systems, ensuring seamless operations across critical infrastructure. He led technical teams, developed and implemented engineering strategies, and drove initiatives that improved efficiency, sustainability, and long-term asset value. This role allowed him to combine his hands-on expertise with strategic leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality results. With 20 years as an Operating Engineer, his background offers a rare combination of technical depth and project leadership, giving him a well-rounded perspective in Construction Project Management.

Jon was born at Sibley Hospital in Northwest D.C. and grew up in Northern Virginia, where he still lives today with his wife, Jen, and adventurous son, Jaxon. Family time is what he values most, but when not with them, you’ll usually find him outside. He’s an avid outdoorsman who loves golf, motorcycles, camping, fishing, and hunting—pretty much anything that gets him outside. When indoors, he enjoys working with his hands through finish carpentry, metal fabrication, and welding. He also enjoys building and troubleshooting PCs. According to his wife, he’s never been one to sit still.
