Orr managed the development of West Alex, a 500,000 SF mixed-use project with three buildings atop a five-acre underground parking garage. The Array residential building has 278 units and 100,000 SF of retail anchored by a 62,000 SF Harris Teeter. Amenities include lounge areas, a pet spa, a dog run, a fitness center with yoga room and a courtyard. As part of the project, a podium for 74 affordable housing units was delivered to the Alexandria Housing Development Corp. Orr expertly managed the complex scheduling of new utilities with permitting for the mixed-use components. This LEED Silver project also includes a green roof.
