Orr Partners is managing the design and construction of three new buildings on this active boarding school campus, to include two dormitories and a student Health and Wellness Center. Orr collaborated closely with EHS to minimize impacts to students and staff on the occupied boarding school campus, while also scheduling around 2021 material shortages. Working closely with Dominion Power, Orr avoided relocating an existing electrical vault, which saved the school thousands of dollars. Both dormitories utilize a new geothermal system and achieved LEED Silver certification.
