George Hopkins
Sr. Project Manager
George began his engineering career serving as a Naval Officer on a destroyer homeported in Charleston, SC. Afterwards, to gain project and construction management experience on heavy industry large capital projects, he joined Federal Paperboard in Wilmington, NC as a project manager. This experience led to over 25 years in project and construction management representing owners, consultants, and as a business owner where he worked on industrial, commercial and public sector projects ranging in value from several thousand to over $600M.
When not working, George enjoys traveling to visit his grown children and their families, offshore fishing, sailing, golf, and hunting. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA and now resides in Jensen Beach, FL.
George has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
