Orr was selected to manage the development of Arglass’s first glass manufacturing plant in the US, which will supply glass bottles to clients around the world with an expected production of 265M units per year. The facility includes 189,000 SF of production, 193,000 SF of decoration and storage, 10,000 SF of offices, and a 38,000 SF workshop. The plant was designed for efficiency, with automation allowing for small and large capacity production. In addition, the project included a CSX rail line extension with direct access for deliveries, along with roads and parking areas. Orr worked closely with Arglass and vendors to minimize schedule delays caused by the 2020 pandemic.
