Orr Partners is in the process of redeveloping the current site of Joyce Motors into a 240-unit, mixed-used apartment building. Built in 1949, Joyce Motors is an excellent example of an auto service station from the time. As an historical building, it will be preserved, refurbished and incorporated into the new 11-story structure. The classic porcelain enamel panels with rounded corners, bullet bollards and green speed lines from the original station will be given new life as they curve around the ground floor of the east elevation. While maintaining this historical site, Orr will create modern apartments for 21st century Clarendon.
