Jim has more than 30 years of experience in design and construction management. He has served as the lead project manager on projects valued from $250,000 to $700M with the responsibility for full spectrum project management services from inception through completion. Currently, Jim serves as Vice President overseeing all of Orr’s industrial and manufacturing projects.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys golf, men’s league hockey, and as much travel as his schedules allow. He grew up in the DC area in Garrett Park, MD but moved across the river 30 years ago and now resides in Fairfax, VA with his wife Martha and two flat-coated retrievers Mabel and Olive. He also has two grown kids that currently reside in Northern VA.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Engineering from George Washington University.
